Vindhyachal Women Development & Welfare Society (Regd.) was constituted as a registered body in 2002 with a vision to impart technical, Medical & Paramedical Education to groom up a bread of highly dedicated & skilled professions. Society planned to start a Nursing College in Jabalpur in the name of Amar Jyoti Institute of Nursing Science and Research.
To impart a university level education in Nursing The Amar Jyoti Institute of Nursing Sciences and Research was started in 2003 with a vision to prepare highly skilled nurses as the Nurse - Patient ratio in India is very low. With the ever increasing pressure on the health sector the demand for qualified Nurses is on rise.
Apart from job in India, bright future awaits Nurses in foreign countries. Thus the career for graduate Nurses is very rewarding. Apart from the hospital the scope has widened to include pharmaceutical firms and other organisations
